Why I’m closing my Free Facebook Group

I started my Facebook group back in April 2020. 😁

I sat in my Campervan one day as my son napped, having run out of excuses to not hit the ‘Create’ button. 🚐

It feels like a lifetime ago and also just like yesterday. 🤨

My intent was to build an online community to support working mums in the constant juggle. I believe that so much strength can come just from connecting with others who share the same challenges. ♥️

The group has grown considerably and I have loved hanging out there. 💃🏻

And yet, as my own calendar becomes fuller it is starting to feel like my time there is less impactful. 📆

Only a small proportion of the 246 members now see any of the posts and engagement has dropped off, in part I assume because of that. 🙃

And so I am deciding to close it down and offer an alternative that feels exciting, more my style and hence possibly more your style too. ✨

I’ve created a group on Telegram, an app that has a lot of similarities to WhatsApp. I’d love to have you join this new fledgling community. You can do so by clicking here: Join Now

It is a space for purpose driven mums who want more from work and life. I’ll be focussing on juggling business start up with life as an already-working mum. 🤹‍♀️

It was hard to take the decision and even as I communicate it I have my doubts that it’s the right thing. But I love that business can be a vehicle for personal growth and self expression. Taking this decision is a great example of that. 🌿

I see it as the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. 🍂

If you have enjoyed being a part of the Facebook community, I’d love it if you come to join me on Telegram, or pass the link on to someone who might.

Here it is again: https://t.me/+YKcLJQ3-zZowMGE8
