31 | Writing, entrepreneurship and embracing mum life, with Helen McNutt of Mother of Copy

A super fun conversation with Helen McNutt of Mother of Copy. After a high flying career as a freelance copywriter for many exclusive brands including GQ, Guardian, and Cosmo Helen has embraced motherhood as a superpower and integrated it into her passion for copywriting. She now teaches other mums with small businesses how to write their own copy.

Helen teaches mums how to work with the unpredictability of family life and how to use copywriting to bring out both their brand and personal identity. We have a very lively conversation that covers all sorts! My favourite bits include:

- the realities of running a small business as a mum of small kids
- how to use motherhood as a strength in your copywriting
- allowing ourselves to be creative
- life on a school farm

If you want to hear more from Helen you can find her on Instagram @mother_of_copy and on her website www.motherofcopy.co.uk

And if you'd like to continue the conversation come and JOIN US over on The Balancing Act for Working Mums Facebook Group.
