Find more balance in your business

Back when I was trying to make it big in the world of granola, unsurprisingly, I used to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. 👩‍🍳

I remember one particularly oat filled evening. I’d received a big order from a sizeable hotel chain which I’d promised to fulfill asap. 🏨

After my son’s bedtime that evening I started on the baking. I got off to a good start but after a while I realised how tired I was and how much I actually just really wanted to go to bed too. 🛌

The final straw came when I clumsily dropped the final batch, spilling the perfectly clustered oat mix all over the floor. And had to start it all over again. 🧹

As the tears flowed I wondered how on Earth I could make this work, . 😭

Starting out in business is tough - I haven’t yet met an entrepreneur who hasn’t gotten off to a messy, imperfect and unpredictable start. 📝

Now with the benefit of hindsight I realise how I could have set up a few of the fundamentals differently in order to find a balance between life and business that was a lot more sustainable than I made them. ⚖️

And this is something I feel really passionate about passing on. So much so that I have just hosted a FREE 60 min MASTERCLASS on this very topic. If you missed it live and would like to catch up on replay then drop me a message hey@debbielee.co.uk and I’ll send it over.
